This caught my eye right away when I first viewed your gallery, and I'm happy to have the time to say something about it now. I the perspective, and how the clouds match the pattern of the butterfly is such a marvelous gift to this shot! The way butterflies flit around I'm impressed you were able to get such a close shot, and at such a unique angle! I don't think I've seen anything quite like this.
I am so glad you like this picture. I consider it as one of my best captures and I really like it too. This summer we had extremely many butterflies in my country, but I had never managed to get a good photo of any of it, except the day I noticed them in front of our house (not in our garden or the park) and I think that the key to butterfly capture is trifolium (the plant on the photo), because it isn´t easy for butterflies to get into the flower, so they must dip their proboscises very deep and this is the reason, why they don´t fly away so quickly. It´s just my theory, but I think it really works. I made many shots this day, I was lying in the trifolium for may be an hour and I got several really great and sharp photos, like this one: [link]
